IT'S POSSIBLE TO FIND THE GOOD IN YOUR GRIEF.

A journal for those seeking a resource to help navigate their grief.

To be honest, I’m really sorry that you even have to be reading this. Because if you are, more than likely, that means that you’ve lost someone you love. And it’s awful. There’s no other way to say it.

I created the Good Grief journal because it was what I found that I needed when I lost both of my parents tragically, within five short years of each other. I’m not going to make any promises here that a journal like this is going to take away your grief or magically make everything all better. That wouldn’t even make any sense.

But what I can promise you is that if you’re willing to give your grief some time, space, and attention — and give yourself a lot of grace in the process — one day, you will be able to find the good in your grief. And my hope is that this journal helps you along the way.

About the Author

Lori Miggins is a mom, wife, self-retired special education teacher, wellness coach, podcast host, author, and speaker. She is originally from Long Island, NY, and now resides with her family on Lake Norman in North Carolina.

After living an amazing childhood, marrying her college sweetheart and man of her dreams, and starting a family, her world was turned upside down when she unexpectedly lost her father to suicide after his long battle with depression. Four years later, she lost her mother suddenly to undiagnosed breast cancer.

Although grief is something that she still battles daily, she has learned how to turn her pain into purpose and has dedicated her professional life to helping others live whole, healthy lives and find the good in their grief.

When she’s not shuttling her kids around, spending time with her family, or enjoying the lake view from the deck of her dream home, Lori can be found playing tennis, wake surfing, diving into a new workout program, creating healthy desserts in her kitchen involving chocolate and peanut butter, or boating with her family. Good Grief is her debut book. You can learn more about her and her work at www.lorimiggins.com.
